It's been about a week since I started this blog and overall, it's not too bad. I'm the kind of person who tends to procrastinate a lot. I've been meaning to do a blog but the technology always seemed a little too overwhelming and I could never find the time to make a commitment.
The TypePad technology is fairly inuitive and easy to use. Added to that, I've started to get better at just expressing myself on the fly which seems to be a useful trait.
The good news is that in my first week, I've had some celebrity acknowledgement (albeit privately). Josh Marshall sent me a note saying he'd stop by and Kevin Drum, the Washington Monthly's Political Animal also dropped a note welcoming me to the blogosphere and offering some design suggestions. These guys are the big leagues of progressive blogging so I think it says a lot about them individually for them to spare some attention to this little space. Go give them a visit because they are daily reads for me.
In its first week, the Minority Report has already gotten a rave review:
"I love it! Really. I'm not just saying that because I know you."
That's a stellar endorsement, dontcha think? (And I really do appreciate it. Really. I'm not just saying that because you're my only regular reader!)
I also got my first question (does that make it frequently-asked?):
Why are you angry?
I haven't come up with a clever answer yet, although I have some ideas. When I do, I'll post it. Otherwise, feel free to stop in anytime. I'll be posting more...
